The desk, the measurement, and the funding
Chart Pattern Atlas is an independent editorial desk. It republishes one measurement from named public sources, states how it is funded, and collects nothing of its own.
Who publishes this site and how its one measurement is taken
The publisher is the Chart Pattern Atlas research desk. The desk is not a broker, not an exchange, not a licensed adviser, and it holds no client money. Its subject is one measurement: each chart is a real stretch of price history where the figure's written rule found the pattern, and the markers show the points the definition uses. The desk reads named public sources, republishes the chart with the date it was read, and names the source under every chart with a link so a reader can check the figure at its publisher. It is one occurrence, not evidence that the figure works.
What follows from this is that the desk's responsibility is narrow. It does not promise that a pattern will repeat, that a reader will profit, or that a figure is suitable for any decision. The desk will not rate brokers, will not score platforms, and will not say what a reader should do with the chart. A reader who wants to check the measurement can open the linked source and compare the figure on the same date. Where a figure is found to be wrong, the desk corrects it and dates the correction. That is the whole of the desk's duty to the figures.
What the desk is and what it is not
The desk behind the figures is an editorial desk, not a trading desk. It is not a broker, not an exchange, not a licensed adviser, and it holds no client money. It does not take orders, does not execute trades, and does not hold or move a reader's funds. Its only product is the page a reader is looking at: a record of one measurement, taken from a named source, with the date it was read. The desk is not a substitute for a licensed adviser, and nothing on the site is investment advice, a recommendation or an offer. The charts describe what price did, not what a reader should do.
Because the desk is not a broker or an adviser, it cannot answer questions about a reader's own account, a reader's own trades, or what a reader should do next. The desk cannot see a reader's bank, wallet, or broker account, and it will not ask to. If a reader writes to the contact address with a question about a figure, the desk can check the source and reply. If a reader writes with a question about their own trading, the desk will say plainly that it cannot answer, because that would be advice.
What this site collects and where its money comes from
The site collects nothing of its own. It has no accounts, no login, no newsletter and no comment form. It sets no cookie of its own, runs no analytics and stores nothing in the reader's browser. The pages are served by a hosting provider which, like any web host, keeps its own technical request logs; the site's publisher does not read a reader's personal data out of them. Writing to the address on the contact page reaches the desk, and the desk keeps the correspondence only long enough to answer it. Corrections are the reason the address exists: a figure that is wrong is corrected and the correction is dated.
The site links to one broker, FxPro, through an affiliate link, and is paid a commission if a reader opens an account there. The reader pays nothing to this site and nothing extra at the broker. This is the site's only source of funding, and it is stated plainly on this page and on the terms page. The desk does not sell data, does not take payment from any other broker, and does not charge readers. The affiliate relationship does not change the measurement: the desk reads the same source in the same way whether or not a reader ever follows the link.
Following the outbound link and writing about data questions
The broker's own site is operated by someone else, under its own terms and its own privacy policy, and following the link leaves this site. The desk does not control what the broker shows, does not promise that the broker's pages are accurate, and does not answer for the broker's conduct. A reader who follows the link should read the broker's terms and privacy policy before opening an account. The desk's responsibility ends at the link: everything after it is between the reader and the broker.
To write about data questions, use the contact address editor@chartpatternatlasin.pages.dev. The desk will answer questions about a figure, a source, or a correction, and it will date any correction it makes. The desk cannot answer questions about a reader's own account, cannot promise that a figure will repeat, and cannot give advice. A reader who believes a figure is wrong should name the chart, the source, and the date shown on the page, and the desk will check it against the publisher.
